I simply can't believe it. I wonder when it happened because I only applied about 8 or 9 months ago.

Duke said:I thought becoming a DMOZ editor only gave you privaledges to add sites from a pre-determined category within the directory. As far as I know, you're not able to always get what you want because someones already editing that category. I could be wrong though, wouldn't be the first time, won't be the last.
Something tells me that if I got busted for getting my own sites in there quickly that I'd really suffer the consequences though for any future listings. It's not worth taking the chance to me really not to mention I don't think I'd be able to commit too much time to editing anyway.
Lastly, the way I look at it is that I'm confident, happy and believe in what I'm doing online with my sites. It's my opinion that if a directory such as dmoz doesn't list me for whatever reason, then it's really their problem and not mine. I really believe that my sites will surpass my expectations (hell they already have) and flourish as time goes on. This may sound ignorant in nature, but I do believe it.
Let the heckling begin.
