How Blockchain will overpower the bot traffic.
If there are any affiliates following my page who have never dealt with the bot traffic and can prove it, a whole crate of the finest Czech beer will be on me. What’s the problem with the bot traffic? The bot traffic that most of the affiliates and networks are pushing (especially to CPM offers) is hard to identify. “Why is that?” you ask. Obviously, there is not enough data for filtering configuration. Every ad network and tracker are keeping their clicks on protected servers and are not eager to share this information.
Contemporary machine learning algorithms and ai-powered solutions are capable of finding the right connections within the data and filtering out bots, but in order for them to actually work, a lot more data is required (Big data, as you may have heard). Why doesn’t Google seem to give a damn about this issue? It’s due to almost unlimited amount of data that Google possesses, which simplifies the task.
Now, imagine that all the data on all the traffic sources is stored within a single decentralized network - a courtesy of the blockchain technology - and all its members are acting under the same protocol. Whether you want to get traffic or push traffic, you are forced to join the network and play by the common rules (or GTFO if you don’t want to). Every member and its traffic are handled automatically by the algorithms, thus eliminating fraudulent activity and making the world a better place. Fascinated?
