Sometime I wonder if I am becoming a prima donna or my response to things are in line with how most other people will behave.

Recently, I asked for a quote for a service from a service provider, quote was provided which I accepted. The purchase is a significant purchase which will cost thousands of pounds. I have to keep chasing this service provider up to get information, sometime no response from him for many weeks, because I am not quite committed to this project yet, I have decided this is definitely not the person to buy the service from.

How would you react to a service provider you have to chase for information if you are not quite committed yet?

I'll keep sending emails until I get a satisfactory response.I try to be professional but the chav just wants to come out!

But don't you think someone you have to keep nagging to get a response from is not someone you want to do business with? A professional person or outfit should respond to email without the need to keep sending emails.

This is a no-no Temi, please stay away from this provider. You offer him business a he is giving you run-around. Imagine what's going to happen after you pay him...

Usually people should be chasing you around after you show interest in theirs product or service, not the other way around. 1-2 days is understandable to wait for the responce but not weeks - I would never deal with such company.

What annoys me is when you get an immediate response and they fob the fault off onto you or say to do something you've already tried - its all to buy time!

Smeagain, the reason is that there is a 3rd party, a good friend who introduced me to this service provider, don't want to offend him.
