How I got ranked my website in 7 days

I have been writing blogs for my website for the last 2 months. However, I wasn't able to rank my website or any content. Now I have found a way of ranking my website.

What I have done so far to rank my website.

Keyword research (Long tail + User intend)
Unique content based on the keyword
Kept the keyword on the meta title and meta description
I used images inside my post and used alt tags
And then posted my blog link on Reddit.

Finally, I see my content ranked on Google's first page in the #3 position.

that’s a great achievement - hitting #3 on Google in just two months is impressive! It looks like your long-tail keyword strategy and Reddit backlinks played a big role.

Are you seeing consistent traffic from that ranking yet? One thing that could help maintain and improve your position is internal linking—linking your ranked post to other relevant pages on your site. Also, are you tracking your click-through rate (CTR)? A small tweak to your meta title & description could push you even higher.

Would love to hear what niche you're writing in - SEO strategies vary a lot depending on the competition

Thanks! Yeah, I was surprised to see it rank so quickly. I think the combination of long-tail keywords and Reddit really helped, but I’m also monitoring engagement to make sure it stays up there. I do internal linking, but I might need to refine my strategy—thanks for the suggestion! CTR is something I’m looking into as well, since a small change can make a big difference in rankings.

I mainly write in affiliate marketing traffic generation and conversion optimization, where competition can be tough, but with the right SEO approach, it’s definitely possible to rank. I’ve been experimenting with different strategies to see what works best, and so far, this method has been the most effective.

If you’re working on SEO as well, I’d love to exchange insights! I also help others improve their rankings using the same approach that got me to #3. What’s your experience been like with SEO so far?

That’s awesome to hear! Ranking so quickly in a competitive niche like affiliate marketing and traffic generation is no small feat—props to you for testing and refining your strategy. Long-tail keywords + Reddit sounds like a solid combo, especially for getting those early engagement signals. internal linking is definitely worth fine-tuning. A well-structured link flow can boost rankings across multiple pages—are you focusing mostly on siloing content or just naturally linking related articles?
I’ve been testing different SEO approaches as well, especially in content optimization and CTR improvements. Have you played around with A/B testing meta titles or adjusting content layouts to improve engagement?

Absolutely! Internal linking is something I’m optimizing further—I mostly keep it natural, linking related content where it makes sense, but I’m also exploring some siloing strategies to see if they provide an extra boost. Have you found one approach to be more effective than the other in your experience?

A/B testing meta titles is on my radar, especially since even small tweaks can impact CTR. I’ve noticed that certain power words or curiosity-driven phrases tend to attract more clicks. As for content layout, I’ve tested different structures, like breaking up text with images, using bullet points, and improving readability—definitely helps with engagement!

It’s great to connect with someone actively testing different SEO strategies. If you ever want to exchange more insights or dive deeper into traffic growth methods, I’d love to chat!

If it is a new website, would directing more links to your website help?
