Hi all, cold traffic rarely converts. Studies show that it converts at, on average, 0.5%.
In other words, I shouldn't expect to make a sale the first time around.
This is due to the mere exposure effect. People rarely buy something when they first see it.
The question I have though, is how long does remarketing take?
I've read that remarketing success depends on the price.
The more expensive the product is, the longer remarketing takes.
What about for a $40 ecommerce product?
Neil Patel once wrote in a blog article that we should change the default remarketing timeline in Facebook Ads from 30 days to 90 days.
Do you agree?
