How to create a privacy policy? Newsletter related

I'm interested in offering a newsletter on my site(s) since this is a powerful way of creating revenue and more importantly retaining your visitors by updating them with new stuff on the website or with info in general that is relevant to the theme of the site(s).

I would like to ad a link to a privacy policy but i have never created a privacy policy and i feel it should be there since i am offering a newsletter and receive email subscribers (hopefully) to my newsletter.
It's not my intention to sell their email addresses to third parties or to abuse it.

So a privacy policy would be a nice way to bring this message across.
