I like how he gives example with one of the most severely hit by the Penguin update niches. And it was hit predominantly because SEOs do not actually know how to do SEO. I don't claim I know. I just say it is much more than making a link wheel, or buying a private blog network link, or getting your site on 100 (,000) directories for $100 (by a third-world "affordable SEO" company, of course). Sigh.
