I'm very excited, I was recently promoted from operations to marketing for the company I work for... Now, to not get the boot from the moderator, even though there may be an exception to the rule for the name of my employer because the .com is part of our name, I will merely refer to the company I work for by thier NASD listed symbol WWWW.
I came to WWWW as a refugee from Clear Channel World Wide. I worked as a News Editor for the local Fox and CBS affiliates. But when CC put their TV stations on the auction block, I knew it was time to move into a growth industry. We all know how ad dollars are flooding into the internet. With the investment bankers coming in and firing all the managers, I saw the ax chopping at my team next.
When I first got hired by WWWW, they were called WebsitePros. The management of this company is very bright, 'kings of mergers and acquisitions'. We offer many things to help the small business owner succeed both online and in real life. In June of 2008 with the acquisition of yet another company, WebsitePros assumed the identity and customer base of WWWW.
It's almost been 2 years since I started as a copy writer / website designer, now with my new position, Affiliate Coordinator, I am charged with a daunting task of consolidating and managing disparate affiliate programs. So, while in Commission Junction I have separate programs for WWWW, NetObjects Fusion, and LogoYes. I also have internal programs to manage for Renovation Experts and 1ShoppingCart.
In addition to these, WWWW has thier own internal program. Currently we are only managing the core products from here, but will soon marry all of the affiliate programs that have been acquired into one WWWW Ad Network.
Right now my main focus is on launching and getting out the word about the recent pertnership with Bob Villa. I am in the process of setting up a program in Commission Junction for Bob Villa Contractors powered by Renovation Experts.
But in addition to all of this... I need to recruit quality affiliates in to our network... Any one have any advice for me?
