What specifically do you feel is a tired approach? Using graphics in advertising? Or the old PDF "book" design?
That particular type of graphic. It's an old, very old, graphic style for that niche.
When I look through AdPlexity, et al, for example, those types of images really are not what I see top promoters using now. They are using a more sophisticated ad image geared for a more sophisticated and educated demographic.

I agree. I just keep seeing these graphics being used and wonder if they are actually working in that niche(not my niche) Better than some I have seen though, lol
