Manager to work on the targeted international market.
You'll work in the International Marketing Department and closely with many departments in the
company. For this role we are looking for people who are excited about an opportunity to become a
big part of a growing organisation.
It is essential that you have a solid background in Marketing/Online Marketing also a strong
Commercial acumen, proven results on leading a successful Marketing team is highly advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and direct the targeted international team, develop and create new activities to
ensure consistent expansion of profitable sales and establishment of new business partners.
Responsible for developing business strategies and promoting through online marketing
efforts throughout the coverage area
Strengthening the relationship with the Local merchants and Affiliate Networks, in order to
create new revenue opportunities
Main Duties:
Proactively promoting the concept of voucher codes as a marketing opportunity to online
retailers
Managing and negotiating merchant exposure including newsletter, homepage, blog,
Facebook etc.
Promoting seasonal events and bespoke newsletter campaigns/competitions
Using proactive skills to build strong business relationships and stay ahead of competitors
Being aware of competitor activity and acting accordingly
Presenting new opportunities and marketing routes for merchants
Day‐to‐day management of ongoing retailer relations and partnerships ? ongoing contact
and regular feedback reports as necessary
Responsibility for key merchant accounts across numerous verticals
Face to face meetings with retailers, networks and agencies
Planning strategic campaigns for key accounts that complement retailer marketing calendars
Create annual marketing plan, including strategies, campaign plans and assessment metrics.
Optimise existing revenue channels whilst creating new ones.
Recommend strategic direction to senior management.
Manage Affiliate Networks within the targeted international market.
Measure & report on team results & marketing performance against budgets/targets.
Manage third party agencies and other external suppliers.
Develop and track appropriate metrics (audience, traffic and impact data) and formulate
insights and recommendations.
Working with the Online Marketing Manager to create SEO, PPC and Link Building plans and
ensure that developments are scheduled in appropriately, ? managing in‐house and external
link builders to achieve high quality, relevant links.
Control the departmental budget.
Manage the IT process and new IT Project
Personal Skills
People Management 3 years experience
Over 5 years Online Marketing experience
Good understanding of SEM activities
Ability to define problems, collate data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
?Sleeves rolled up? approach, flexible, self motivated to succeed
E‐commerce experience (highly desirable)
Educated to degree level (minimum)
CIM/IDM, e‐commerce training (desirable)
Copywriting and editing (desirable)
Excellent analytical skills and a strong work ethic.
Well developed strategic and operational capabilities
Team leadership and decision making skills
Strong commercial acumen and proven marketing management skills
Considerable knowledge of people management and how to motivate staff to deliver the
best possible performance.
Highly analytical and results driven, ability to understand and interpret management
information including web analytics.
