Would it be too many? And I feel it's really hard to find suitable contents for inserting related blog post links. Any advices or thoughts are welcomed!

Unless you are a premium member here, at affiliatefix, your backlink would be marked nofollow.
I think this has become pretty commonplace now --not sure on that ...
Consequently, unless you expect human user traffic to be coming from your backlinks --you are probably wasting your time expecting any great SEO success this way.
10 or 15 years ago this was a decent SEO tactic --today it's very questionable.

20 backlinks from a forum per week can work if done correctly, but the key is quality, not quantity. It is best to target niche forums with good indicators, traffic of 1k+ pageviews and 30+ at least. I ordered these from NeedMyLink and the results were better than I thought

if you are building quality links then even 10 links are enough per week. Use valuable content and relevant forums with reasonable traffic.
