I am working on a website to do CPA and wanted to know if there is any information that is required at the bottom of each page; like: copyright, terms & conditions, privacy policy, disclosure, disclaimers, documentation, etc. I see one or two of these on a few sites, but most don?t have any of these. If these are required where can one get them?

Thanks for any information.

Hi Kenneth,

I don't know if any of those things is required by CPA networks but I think all sites should at the very least have a copyright and privacy policy. Plus if you are planning to do Adwords, a privacy policy will help with your quality score and may even be required.

Here is some info from Google Adwords with a suggestion for part of what to say in your privacy policy.

A client of ours developed a free privacy policy template. I'm not saying it's the best because I don't know, but it's free, you just need to customize for your site. Or Google free privacy policy and see if there are others you like better. RevenueWire - Free Privacy Policy Template for Download

The government is talking about requiring affiliate link disclosures so it may not hurt to start using them.

The above is just my opinion and not intended to be legal advice.

Hope this helps and best of luck!
