It seems Yahoo has removed the backlink checking command (link:http:// www. domainname. com)from its search engine, in the past used to check backlinks with that command, does anyone know what the new command is?
That is a good startingpoint. Simply use the default search input at the yahoo! main page. At the left top corner of the result page you will see the numeric data.
Sadly it does not work for me, I get "Document not found" and it has always worked for many years. I am not logged into Yahoo when I did the search, are you logged into Yahoo when you did yours?
In the past, when you run the command from Yahoo.com , you are forwarded to site exploere, I think its now been changed so that you have to login to Yahoo first.

Attention: "role based name" email prefixes such as support, webmaster, info, contact, forum, service, affiliate, admin, traffic, partners, marketing, etc., for our member accounts are not permitted. They are acceptable for a vendor listing, but not for the member email. This is due to bulk email processors scrubbing them for delivery due to extremely high bounce rates. If we discover you signed up with a role based name we will give you only one message to change it. After 3 days your account will be removed if the email is not changed.
