On Wednesday, Microsoft unveiled a new rebate program to lure people to its search engine through a program that gives users rebates when they use it to find and buy some products at Advance08, a Microsoft conference for advertisers.
This effort will be called Cashback. This program will be primarily encouraging internet users to use Microsoft's search engine, Live Search. According to comScore, Microsoft has only 9.4 percent of domestic market search in March while market leader Google has 59.8% and Yahoo! has 21.3%.
