Whew - what a week! A week filled with major milestones...
Monday: the 5 Star forum hit the 5,000 member mark milestone. We celebrated with a contest and announced the "Brightest New Star Award" (a new member recognition program). We also announced some forum expansion including a new dedicated Performics and Linkshare forum and other improvements that will better serve our members, as the forum continues to grow. Full details here.
Tuesday: 5 Star launched the Microsoft adCenter Affiliate Program, our biggest client to date. (Not sure clients come much bigger than that, unless "GoogClickFormics" should want to become a 5 Star program.) ;-)
Wednesday: The 3rd anniversary of the 5 Star blog. I guess 3 years in the blog world is a long time, considering how many blogs out there are less than a year old. (Meant to do an anniversary blog yesterday, but never got a chance.)
The 5 Star blog also has the distinction of being about the only top ranked, award nominated affiliate marketing blog written by a women. I guess that should make me proud - but it leaves me feeling a little bit sad that we don't have more of the brilliant female minds in our industry making their voices heard via the blogospere. Not that there aren't some great affiliate blogs by women, but the majority of the LEADING affiliate, SEO and online marketing blogs are penned by men. (Guess that's another story for another day.)
Thursday - 4th Milestone: Today is my birthday. God gave me a cold. Thanks!
(I think the cold medicine is taking over so I should stop writing now...) ;-)
Today also marks the final homestretch to Christmas. Only 5 days to go.
The stockings are hung and most of the shopping has been done.
I sincerely hope the 4th quarter was a revenue "milestone" for all of you!
Happy Holidays!
