There seems to be an ever-increasing number of Canadians becoming AFix members, mostly from T.O. and GTA, far as I can tell but is there anyone here from London or surrounding area? If so, are you interested in meeting up somewhere to discuss various aspects of the biz?
This past weekend, I checked via meetup.com and general online searching but did not find any CPA or affiliate marketing groups in this area.
I do not mean this to be a substitute for AFix! That's not possible anyway, to my way of thinking. To the contrary, I'm thinking of it as a complement to this great community and everything we're learning here. I'm thinking very informal, chatting/discussion, offering whatever support and motivation we can, or just listening when someone needs to vent. Maybe starting with once a month or something. This is a very solitary industry for those of us who are small and just starting. That is just fine with me, I like my solitude. However, I think it's not always the best thing to never interact with other humans of like mind.
I don't know about you guys but I have no one to talk to offline about this stuff. And if I tried, they wouldn't have a clue what I was talking about. I love this forum and will probably be here until I'm too old and feeble to type but sometimes it's nice to talk, network and interact with others (in person) who understand what you're trying to do. It's probably a good opportunity for brain-storming or discussing problems in a less public venue, as well. I'd even be willing to take responsibility for putting forth any questions, problems or successes in the appropriate threads here after the meeting(s), if people don't want to be bothered, or don't have time.
Sorry, I'm not driving again yet but am more than willing to meet any place on a bus route in the city.
