Yahoo recently played its top two anti-Microsoft takeover cards in the form or possible alliance with AOL and and testing outsource Web search advertising to Google, however this two announcements did not seem to have any impact on the city's view that Microsoft takeover is a better deal for Yahoo's shareholders.
Microsoft on the other hand was reported by New York Times that Rupert Murdoch's News Corp is in talks with Microsoft about joining the 21 Billion pounds bid for Yahoo, this seem to have strengthens Microsoft's bid significantly.

Neither of you have built up a large business and come to sell it then :(

When i sold my business a few years back (granted it was less than £2M not the silly figures brandeed about there), I REALLY wasn't worried about what UPN were offering, I was FAR FAR more interested in what would happen to my baby afterwards!

Problem with your Kid's future is nothing to worry about i think that there emphasis is that they did good and well to establish there business Globally and now when getting an offer from microsoft they are not able to make up there own mind.

Concentrating to continue on there path but frankly speaking it's not an easy job to sell the business for which so many efforts were made.

Ok hah ha I messed up. I was of course talking about the baby being the business :) LOL

Honestly if you have all the money you need, are enjoying running the business, WHY would you change anything? WHY?

THAt is the question microsoft need to be asking and it could save them a LOT of money in the long term also.
