Microsoft-tax free laptops

Asus finally goes Linux Quite a nice change from "we don't support Linux" attitude they have had so far...

Unfortunately ASUS does not deliver laptops and notebooks without pre-installed Microsoft operating system any more. If you order more than 10 pieces an individual assembly without "Microsoft-Tax" is possible.

All laptops will be delivered with a pre-installed Debian/GNU Linux or Gentoo. For an extra charge Mandrake Linux PowerPack, SuSE Professional Linux, RedHat are available. All systems will be equipped with Kernel 2.6.x and Frame-Buffer-Console driver. The partition scheme can be configured on individual request.
