Well I think the good news is that this happens to me pretty much every day and it always seems to work itself out so I would say that you will be okay. I have always been able to uninstall and reinstall it when it gets to that point though, so if worst comes to worst you can always try that.

Go into control panel and uninstall, and then reinstall. What OS are you on and what Version of Word are you using?

It's also a good idea to use a more advanced program removal application, like REVO Uninstaller, as well as a good registry cleaner afterwards, like Uniblue PowerSuite.

Hi! I suggest you to try the following:

1. Initiate MS Word in safe mode. Click Start-All Programs-Microsoft Office. Then hold the Control key + MS Word.

2. You can also update your graphics card since this can be causing the bug issue.

3. Repair MS Office. Click Control Panel-Program and Features-MS Word-Complete the repair process.

4. As a last resort, you can try uninstalling and reinstalling MS Word.
