Hi Guys,

New to this.

But without sounding too self-serving I would have save all the wasted
time on conference calls, hotel meetings, and cold calling MLM stuff.

Just wish I had found my current program 6 years ago!

Chasing folks who don't want your product or service just does not work!

Hi JumpNJack, interesting... Your quote above and what it says in your sig about earning consistently from the program for 6 years does not match.

BTW we don't really focus on MLM or biz opps here. We focus on affiliate marketing which is much different. There's no recruiting at all and it's free! :)

Hi Linda,

Thanks for responding.

If I get the gist of your reference you should know that FingerBiz is not an MLM company. It is a two-tier affiliate program (but they call it a membership).

But the reference to 6 years meant that 6 years ago when I started this online stuff...not that FB has been around for 6 years. I wish that there was a company like FB when I started. Sorry if I did not make it clearer. (Blush).

Sorry I misunderstood about the 6 years.

FYI though by the definition of most pro affiliate marketers FingerBiz is considered network marketing, MLM or a biz opp.

With affiliate marketing there is no 'kit' or membership to buy. There is no cost to join. Also with affiliate marketing the focus is not on recruiting others. Some programs happen to be 2 tier, but the emphasis is on selling the product, not recruiting others. Just scanned thier site and saw terms like orphans, upline, compensation plan - those are all MLM terms.

Just telling you the above so you know... So there is nothing wrong with you doing MLM, if you want to, just pointing out the differences and you'll find most affiliate marketers are pretty anti MLM so I'm not sure affiliate forums are going to be a very good recruiting ground.

Just realized we totally took this post off topic, so please don't continue MLM discussion here. If you want to discuss some more please PM me and ask me to split this thread off to a new one then we can talk about it all you want without taking this thread off topic.

Hi Linda,

Thanks for your feedback on FB.

Not sure about the terms you mention. But from my research the real distinction between MLM and two-tiers is that 3rd level of compensation.

As soon as it goes into the 3rd level a program is considered MLM.

For the record I know of many other affiliates promoting FingerBiz. It's not just ebooks, they have videos and mp3s as well. But we all agree that the daily compensation is their most exciting feature.

Thanks for listening.
