The picture of silverback Joy posted gave me inspiration for a new avatar

How old were you Temi when that picture was taken?

Ummmm, I was a strapping 18 year old Gorilla then, I am gradually evolving to be a human though, I have learnt lots of bad human habits

Why do you look so sad? Were you upset?

I do not look sad at all, I was just contemplating the theory of relativity, when I think of high Physics, I tends to look serious which humands mis intepret as being sad, I am not sad at all, I am a very happy Gorilla

The silverback was actually looking at me when I was taking the photo - I really thought he was going to charge at me, it's a good job there was toughened glass between us LOL

I can imagine... the zoo where I was my first Gorilla, one of them is very intelligent, it understands people.. instead of glass there were bars at that zoo, the Gorillas can put their hands through the bars...

One of then if you ask him to dance for a treat, he dances, sometime people do not keep their promise of treat so he goes to drink water, holds it in it mouth and spit it at the person who do not keep their promises to him.
It was a fascinating experience.

Yes temi, I still remember that too, those days at Yaba but I cannot remember who take me to the Zoo for the first time maybe you

There is Gorilla at Yaba those days, maybe they are not there when you visit the zoo. I can remember the two most important animal at the zoo than is the Gorilla and the Lion.

Maybe I do not rember Yaba zoo that well any more but I remeber the Job one VERY VERY clearly especially because of the dancing gorilla, i even remeber that his name was "Haruna"
