My New forum...what do you think?

Hi,

I just setup this new forums few days ago. Can anyone have a look and let me know what do you think? Any things I need to change to improve it?

What I can see now the problem is .......no posts and no visitors .....

You have to break the loop using friends, paid posters, post exchanges etc plus normal site promotion strategies

I second Tony's suggestion. You may also use the post exchange section of this forum to find new posters

First try to concentrate on getting members there through various methods like contests etc. Hire few posters as well.

forum looks just fine to me. but very less visitors.. it must be making your coffers empty

I like the site, I would recommend a few things though.

1. Change the theme from the default SMF theme
2. Hide any forums that don't have posts until they do have posts
3. Create a few users and fill up any empty forums

You should be good to go from there...

Why don't you try to create a blog for your forum, in that way you can
maximize the people you like to visit your site.

Maybe change the template as suggested above?

Paid posters worked a treat for me......google now has approx 6,000 pages of my personal site listed through forum posts from paid posters.
