Need to figure out how to find affiliate marketers

I have a new product that is ideal for political events. I just launched the site this week and am getting great response, but need to figure out how to reach a wider audience. I have an affiliate system built into my website, but need to find affiliates. I hope to figure that part of the battle out here right away. I would love some advice!
