Hello All,
Newbie here. Awesome to be a part of this community! I'm interested in creating a blog website and becoming an affiliate marketer. I understand that first I must identify a niche with significant keyword traffic that also allows room for competition. I have spent the last couple of days researching keywords in the Keywords Everywhere site. My question is if a keyword has decent traffic volume but the competition rating is a “1” does that mean there is little chance of obtaining even a small piece of the traffic? I’m asking because I see very few competition ratings less than “1” in my target niche.
Also, is anyone willing to share an example of what a decent niche would look like for a beginner? I plan on drilling down to include a few niches on my finished site. Wouldn’t mind a “hint” to ensure I’m on the right course metric-wise with my selections.
Many thanks!
