News: Sirius Draws More Subscribers, Trims Loss

With its proposed merger with XM Radio pending approval by the Federal Communications Commission, Sirius Satellite Radio reported narrower losses compared with the same quarter a year ago. The service provider's deal with Howard Stern appears to be continuing to bring in subscribers, whose ranks increased to nearly 7.7 million, the company reported.
