Hi guys...just wanted to introduce myself. I am a veterinarian and I have been running a veterinary advice site for a few months now.

While I love my job as a veterinarian, I have a young child (and who knows if there will be more) and I really want to be able to either work part time or work from home.

The whole idea of affiliate marketing is really exciting me. So, I have jumped in and have decided to get serious!

You don't really say how experienced you are at affiliate marketing, but it sounds like you may be fairly new to it. So start by reading some of the stickies in the newbie forum. Then jump into the stickies in the niche marketing forum. Ask questions when you have any. We're happy to help!

Thanks guys! I have been busy reading the forum for a couple of weeks now.

I am definitely new to affiliate marketing, but I feel I have read to make a go of it. I have made two niche sites so far, but I had an issue with them getting to Google. It turns out that the Wordpress blog I used had the privacy settings automatically set to block search engines!!!

When I say I am finally "all in"...what I mean is that I have made the decision to not just make a little site and see if I can make a few bucks, but I am determined to learn this business inside and out and do really well at it!

What proportion of the 5-star membership do you think actually makes a living via affiliate marketing?

Wow that's so hard to say. A large majority of the active posters are newbies just learning the game. Many of the pros and super affiliates that are members here are too busy to post much and just read, so it's just really hard to make a guess.
