Paedophiles to be forced to disclose e-mail addresses

Paedophiles will have to disclose their e-mail addresses to police when they go on the sex offenders register as part of measures to increase online safety.
Police will pass the details to social networking sites who will be expected to monitor offenders using the sites or bar them access.
Under the proposal announced today child sex offenders will face up to five years in prison for failing to give police an e-mail address or providing a false address.




The question is, how would the authorities know they do not have more email addresses than the one they declared?

They won't know, that's for sure. I think it's a bad idea, it cannot be put into practice.As far as I know of course.

This is a joke right? the Police think this will work? how thick are they? don't they know about these email accounts you can get for 48 hours then self destruct?

Please, this will do little or nothing to stop this disgusting act.
