There are small areas of Wales which cannot access broadband
Extra cash to bridge the "digital divide" between areas of Wales with broadband and those without has been approved by the European Commission.
Although broadband availability has now reached around 98% of Wales, there are still 35 'blackspot' areas which do not have the information technology system.

In wales we are serious about technology. The WDA (welsh development agency) have for the last 2 years been paying 50% of the cost of installation and the first 12 months cost of broadband for business. OUr local authority also had a grant of £250 to help businesses go online. The grants can be combined, which resulted in companies being paid to have broadband. In Wales we know the future ;)
