Polls And User Response

I have a few poll scripts running on some of my sites, and I must admit,
at first it was the novelty of having one that made me implement it. But
I have noticed that I get really good user response from them now.

Do you all use some sort of user voting on your sites, such as a poll script?

I don't use them on my site apart from the occassional poll in this forum.

I have considered a dedicated poll page, I may now have a test run on one of my sites and monitor its results over a three month period.

If poll option is included in the script - I may use it, but will not install any additional software just to have polls...
