Problem editing my product pages in wordpress

Hi, I want to edit my product pages on my word press e-commerce affiliate site, but when I click to edit my products in the admin section, a page opens with the following message:

404 Not Found
Not Found

Oh, The Page You?re Looking For Can?t Be Found
You tried going to http://animalinspired.com/wp-admin/post-new.php?post_type=product, and it doesn't exist. All is not lost! You can search for what you're looking for.

However, I can still view these products on my site. So why can't I edit them in my wp-admin section. I am using a theme called, 'Cool Cart' that I bought from 'templatic.com'. And I am using the latest version of wordpress. In the past I have been able to edit my product pages, so don't understand why I can't edit them now.

Thanks for your response operationoffers. No I don't but I've managed to solve the problem now. The problem with editing the pages had something to do with my permalinks. I changed them back to default and then downloaded a plugin for custom permalinks. I could then edit my pages without any problems!

that's strange, you don't need a plugin to manage the permalinks, it's all in wordpress settings/permalinks

anyway, if it works now, don't touch it
