With my Ford Ranger 4x4 down, I have had to walk to work.
It takes about 1 hour one way, but the funny thing is, when
I take the bus, it takes 1 1/2 hours one way!
How many of you like taking public transportation?
I got the train to school for 6 years, I loved it when I could drive! Trains are nice - when they run on time. At least you know the name of the place your stopping at unlike buses - its terrifying when you've never been on one before and you need to get off!
I have to get the bus up to uni which isn't so bad as its not everyday but eugh slow much! Friend of mine lives an hour from Canterbury but it takes her 2 hours to get here because she goes on the bus!
I was at Tom's River, NJ two years ago, apparently, its only about 1 hour or so from NY, after over 1 hour in traffic withing NJ, I gave up driving to NY .
Public transport in NJ is almost non existent, you drive almost everywhere. And I observed one funny American driving habit, they don't know what a hand break is lol (At least my friends in NJ, non of then ever use hand break when they part).
