We are excited to share the latest updates that came live within the December release. Here is what’s new in RedTrack.io:
  • Campaigns: Campaign URL field added
  • Affiliate Networks: Network Templates added
  • Landings: LP Protect and Direct Traffic Tracking added
  • Sources: more sub ids fields added
  • Improved Dashboard design

Campaigns

We improved the visibility and accessibility of Campaign (Tracking) URL by adding Campaign URL field directly to the “Edit Campaign” page.

Affiliate Networks
To save your time, you can now use the Preset Networks instead of adding them manually. The list of Networks is constantly enriched. If there are any networks you would like to see in RedTrack, feel free to submit your suggestions to support@redtrack.io and we will add them to the list of presets.

Landings
To make sure there are no unplanned entries to your Landings, LP Protect feature was added to the tracker. The script for LP protection can be found at the bottom of the Landing settings page as well as under the Campaign settings.

Direct Traffic. If you need to track direct traffic to your Landings, add the script provided to your landing pages.

Traffic Sources

From now on you can add up to ten sub ids to each of your Traffic Source (previously only 6 sub id fields were available).

Improved Dashboard Design
We have added some design improvements to the Dashboard page and made it more intuitive and easy to navigate. If you would like to have some custom dashboards, please share your ideas and use cases with us at support@redtrack.io.

Traffic Sources Catalog

We have featured a catalog of Traffic Sources, that already includes the core information about the Source, including the list of available macros.

Postback URL for Traffic Sources

You can now postback conversions to the traffic source. Most of the traffic sources in the catalogue have postback templates pre-set. Some of them might require brief changes (e.g. replace placeholder with the actual data). You can add postback URL in Campaign postback settings.

We have moved the navigation menu from icon-based left side to a more traditional top menu position.

Let’s take a closer look at each feature:



Conversion cap

Identify your daily cap when adding an offer to RedTrack. You will be notified via e-mail upon reaching the cap.

Tip: make sure to add several offers when setting a daily cap so that RedTrack has an alternative offer to send traffic to. It can be done in Campaign section.

Editing landing / offers directly from campaign section

You no longer need to switch tabs in case you decide to edit one of the offers. Now you can do it directly from Campaign section of the menu. It's really easy - just click the pencil edit button.

Statistics for Traffic Sources

We added the ability to sort out your Traffic Sources by date and campaign and track the performance of each source by specific criteria.

Show sub-id in click raw data

Clicks tab has become even more informative. You can now view all the sub-ids associated with a certain click directly from this tab.

Offer validation

You will now get notified about offers that contain tracking errors caused by incorrect set-up (for example, wrong click-id macros).

What's new?

From now on, you are able to choose one of the three statuses for your Campaigns and Offers, and filter them out by:
1. Activate
2. Archive
3. Delete

If you wish to create a custom tag for your Campaigns or Offers, it is now possible with the new Edit Tags button. You are also able to filter out Offers and Campaigns by their tags.

3. Mass selection tool

We have added a mass selection tool, allowing you to select multiple entires with just one click.

Tip: if necessary, apply filters to your list for the most accurate selection.

4. Better management of RevShare Campaigns

If you are using the RevShare model for your Campaigns, you are now able to specify the exact share % when passing payout value to the Traffic Source. In order to do that, make sure that Postback URL contains the {offer_payout} parameter.

5. Bot lists

In order to exclude bot traffic from being added to your statistics, you may set specific Bot Rules. Such traffic will not be counted in the number of events included in your RedTrack plan.

6. Landing page views / Landing page clicks reporting

We have added even more statistical data for your Landings. Landing Page views and Landing Page clicks are now available at the very beginning of the report.

As requested by many of our customers, we have added the ability to view Unique Clicks for each Campaign. Check out this new feature in the Campaigns tab.

Filters for Campaigns have now become even more customizable with the new Include/Exclude options.

9. Conversion Tracking Pixel

If the Network of your choice does not support S2S tracking, you may now use a different way of tracking conversions - RedTrack Conversion Tracking Pixel. Simply copy the code from your RedTrack account and add it to your Landing page. More information about Conversion Tracking Pixel can be found here.

10. Default Fallback-URL

We know you would hate to lose important data due to a Campaign setup error. Don't worry - RedTrack will make sure it doesn't happen. If something is off in Stream settings, the data will be passed to your custom Fallback_URL, so don't forget to set it up. It can be done from the Tools tab of the menu.

11. API

RedTrack API is now available under Tools>API Documentation.

For certain reasons, Postback URL setting-up seems super frustrating for many affiliates (regardless of their level of experience). Still, if not set up correctly, it results in total failure of conversion tracking!
