I thought I might post here just in case we get any lookers...
We have an existing relationship with this software with Plimus, they are great as a merchant service, ideal for software.... But are useless when it comes to providing any other service, such as promoting to their existing affiliate base. This we have discovered is very common across the board as we have seen similar with our other projects...
Most of the affilate merchant services for the software industry are what I call "Stumble Sites", you are only found if one of their affiliate members stumbles over you, they do no proactive marketing to any affiliates. Which is why I am here..
We have no issues with Plimus as a merchant, they have been great to date, pay on time, and we have had no issues with our serial numbers for our customers. Their affilate services seem to be working fine... But as I said, they have a wonderful stumble catelog
In addition to our own website sales and marketing, we decided some time ago to head down the road of affiliates and resellers as it makes perfect sense to us. EasyAs Accounting is not your usuall accounting program. Its from a model we have been using for the past 8 years with sales to date in 7 countries. its not meant to be for high end users and it was never designed for that (although we do have some corporations using it in specific branches)..
EasyAs grew out of an inhouse project that started in 2001 as the commericial products at that time sucked, and you had to be an accountant just to use them. I suspect nothing much has changed... Our software is ideal for the Small Business, contractor, trademan, subby, lawn mowing guy etc..
Anyway the merchant and affilate program is with plimus.
