Hi guys, when you scale a campaign with Facebook Ads, do you scale horizontally first? or vertically?

PPC Coach taught that it's preferable to scale horizontally first, by creating more ad sets.

What do you guys think?

Both approaches are good actually, maybe the horizontal scaling is a bit easier at the beginning as you work with existing ad sets that you just duplicate and adjust a little so that it fits a different audience. You could even do it both, and compare the results after a few days to see which of them brings you better results with lower investment.
