You may have seen a free search engine, certainly not the one that powers Google or Yahoo.

But google makes a search script like the one that powers their site available through the url I sent you, that is the script I used for Haabaa.com - Search the Web

Surely you can customize Google Adsense Search for this, i designed my own search engine page a couple of years ago but instead of using my own bots etc i just placed a Google Adsense Search on the site and Customized it with my own logo's etc.

This way your offering a search for your users and Earning a few $$'s at the same time.
