The trick is to write for the visitor and overcome the rest with links.
Keyword and phrase stuffing is worthless, will get you in trouble and is not worth it.
Links is what will make your site soar, not content. Content will give you more scattered keywords if you have supporting links, but targeted keywords are done through title, once in content at least, and write for the visitor so that they convert. Not a bunch of gibberish.
And always remember, everything has general rules, real estate is "location, location, location" Google is "links, links, links"
Anyone who tells you otherwise has no clue as to what they are talking about.
The truth of the matter is that a very important and key part of SEO is the use of the best non-competitive keyword phrases for the particular site, which falls upon the content writer. One keyword phrase can produce millions of hits via leading search engines. Keyword phrases are used on the content and that is why it is so important for a content writer to understand the use of keywords, even if somebody else is researching them for him or her.
You can use something like google keyword tool or any other keyword generating tool to have a look at top keywords in your niche and then incorporate them into good articles that interest the audience.

Attention: "role based name" email prefixes such as support, webmaster, info, contact, forum, service, affiliate, admin, traffic, partners, marketing, etc., for our member accounts are not permitted. They are acceptable for a vendor listing, but not for the member email. This is due to bulk email processors scrubbing them for delivery due to extremely high bounce rates. Please apply for membership using a personalized email prefix. Something like bob@xxxxx.com.
If we discover you signed up with a role based name we will give you only one message to change it. After 3 days your account will be removed if the email is not changed.
