What do you believe is an SEO's largest income source? Affiliated products.. sold ebooks.. selling their sites... or just plain company seo ... ? Express your opinions or your experiences.

Since I own an SEO company, my greatest source of income is optimizing client's websites.But I think focusing on affiliate marketing is also a great source, really depends what you focus on. An old adage says, "the grass is greener not on the other side of the fence, but where you cultivate it."

Maybe I didnt make myself clear - customers for sure want to know if you are able to get sites (there is a reason why I am asking this...) do you refer them to customer testimonials or keep some "showcase" sites like viagra first result LOL???

From my experiance i can say that affiliate marketing is the best way to the income of SEO. Since it is based on cost per lead or cost per sale. It simply indicates that the merchant pays the commission to the affiliate only when he makes a sale through that affiliate.
