I have used a freeware application that checks your local
server or internet web server for any downtimes or failures.
The software can be used to check for services and ports
being up, such as POP3, SMTP, etc.
I haven't used that type of software in awhile, but I have
been thinking about using that type of service again. But
what I wanted to ask you all is what exactly do you check
on a daily or weekly basis, as far as server status goes?
