I was thinking of installing a shoutbox on this forum but I wonder if it will be of any use, what to you think, should I install one or now?

shoutbox are like chat or IM but only users of this forum will be able to use it to communicate within this forum.
Communication in a shoutbox are visible to everyone

Why don't you release a beta version? See how it goes for 1 month and take it from there.

So far 4 against two in favour.. its also quite prone to abuse for example I or any of the other admins are not online.. spammer can put links to porn sites etc in the shoutbox , unless its shut down when I go offline which a pain so I think I will leave it for now.

I have one on my forum mainly because it's some thing that people look at as soon as they come on the site (even though its at the bottom) i personally think it would be wasted on a site. It is only there for display on mine and gets used if someone has something very quick to say. LIKE GGGOOOAAALLLL !!!!!!! (football fans :bait: ).

I couldn't see any need for one here as people don't have quick things to say and everything requires an answer.
