I use Rank Checker every day when I'm working in on a link building campaign. Actually, SERPs are certainly not the most important method of measuring a campaign... but when you are undertaking boring, boring link building it's nice to see some sort of immediate effect (I find the effects of creating incoming links usually takes about a week to show up in the SERPs)
