When searching on the specific term for my website in Yahoo I am finding links to an increasing number of suspicious sites. It generally doesn't happen in Google. The description normally contains gibberish and nonsence but then specifically names my site in the middle or end. If I access the link it is always normally to one of those irritating spyware things that download a scan to try and sell me their product. On one occasion it resulted in a more serious attack which closed down my computer. Can anyone tell me how these dodgy sites work and how they pick up my details? Please forgive my ignorance.
