Keep in mind CTA Clarity for User Engagement

Success:
Clearly define user actions within the limited notification time frame, or limited offer quantity.​
What is the reason to act now or buy?​
More importantly, be realistic and believable, the consumer is bombarded with "Act Now" or "Limited Quantity".​
You need to tell a story.​
The old shipping story ( that is seldom used today);​
We were double shipped by our supplier and negotiated a discount price to move the extra quantity sent to us -- help us out and save some money now!
Be creative tell a story and make the customer believe he is getting over on you.

Or;​
We cut a deal with this dating site to give away 180 trial memberships this month.
Take advantage --these trial memberships are going fast. Don't miss out.

Sure it's bullshit but it is harmless bullshit if you can deliver on your offer (somehow).

Consider the grocery store's "buy one get one free" --they jack up the price of the item and​
maybe you end up saving 20% on 2 of that item.​
Price is an illusion. Also, fulfilling some need is often more important than the final price ...

Pitfall: An unclear call to action could leave users confused, impacting your chances of any success.
