Time to panic?

Not a lot seems to be happening, Google and Bing don't seem to be able to find any backlinks Yahoo finds lots, the site was submitted to the search engines about 4 weeks ago and in the last two I have manually submitted it to a lot of directories most of which will not have reviewed me yet.

It's google I'm concerned about as it cant find any links and that means I can never get a ranking.
I pulled this off backlink finder:-
.............Total... Google... Yahoo... Altvista... MSN
mysite 1651.......0......... 1171..... 240......... 0....... redirect
It's showing a redirect that is not there any more I was redirecting (301) all http to https.

Is it just too soon or am I OK to panic right now ???

Thanks aamcle

My comments:

The link command in Google (which I believe is what backlink finder will use) is not a good way to view Google backlinks a search for yoursite.com -yoursite.com should reveal most if not all. Most people simply use the Yahoo data or the backlinks reported via Google webmaster tools.

You don't need to submit to search engines anymore simply let the inbound links do the work.

If your backlinks are of good quality and not built to fast then Google will find them and pick you up.

Have you varied the anchor text if so the large numnber of links you have built should not be too much of an issue, if not you could have google bowled yourself.
