I love the program, got it to do everything I want except one last thing. I have tens of thousands of product pages made, all perfectly. They all get put in there proper directories (a few hundred). Every directory has an index. Every Index has a unique file name... But. I can't figure out how to make each unique index have a unique title and h1 anchors
(outcome: I have hundreds of different index filenames on my server, all with the same titles)
I tried placing title [WM-FIELD: CategoryName] /title in the head part of the web page
but it always throws a URL up there like:
title
a href="www.sitename.com/CatagoryName/ProductName.php" Proper Catagory Name /a
/title
(if I could just get rid of the url, and leave that Proper Title Name that would work for me)
I tried [WM-FIELD: CategoryName nourl] and Raw too.
Same thing happens when I Try it in the H1 anchor.
-----------------------------------
I run two WEBMERGE's
WEBMERGE 1
Index Pages Tab:
Use one template: 1_main_category_page.php
All records on one page
Naming New Index Pages index.php
Detail Pages Tab (off)
WEBMERGE 2
Index Pages Tab:
Use one template: 2_category_index_pages.php
Multi Pages When field changes CATEGORY
Naming New Index Pages Field Content: CATEGORY
Detail Pages Tab
Use one template: 3_product_detail_page.php
Name based on... CATEGORYPRODUCTNAME (data has / between the two)
-------------------------------------------------
The two pages listed above have these in them
1_main...php page
[WM-RECORD][WM-IndexLabel: ADVERTISERCATEGORY]
[WM-FIELD: ADVERTISERCATEGORY]
[/WM-IndexLabel][/WM-Record]
2_category...php page
[WM-RECORD]
[WM-FIELD: Name]
[/WM-Record]
3rd page is just product info and works great.
---------------------------------------------
Thanks for everything.
