Hey guy' I haven't posted in a while so I figured I will give you a couple of nuggets

Everyone no's that without traffic we are dead in the water " Right" but the biggest problem that we
come across is we run are offers and it looks like this

Unique visitors: 500

Squeeze opt-in rate: 9%

Sales: 0
500 visitors, zero sales. Hence $0.00 (commission
being $22.50 is the commission for a sale example)

But why?

I'll get to that in a sec.

Let's change the traffic system up (tighter
targeting). Nothing else changes.

1. Visitors: 500

2. Squeeze: 21%

3. Sales: 5 ($112.50)

Why the big difference?

The only difference in both cases was
the traffic targeting/source.

Now here's the part that most people don't
stop to think about.

Traffic ('em clicks and impressions) = humans.

Human beings...

Real alive people with a beating heart that
pumps red blood through a circulatory system.

... with feelings. Hopes. Dreams. Ambitions and
aspirations. Emotions. Irrational fears.


Good traffic vs bad traffic.

High conversion rates vs low conversion rates.

Sales vs no sales.

Good subscribers vs bad subscribers.

Here is what most do not get, It all comes
down to this.

When there is a disconnect between what you
are saying and what your visit wants, needs
or desires ... then conversions WILL be low (or
non existent).

The better the "connection" between your
sales system and the NEEDS of the HUMAN BEING
on the other end - the higher your conversion
rate will be.

Absolutely right!

Conversions and sales do not come from search engines, platforms or campaigns - purchases are made by people!!
 
The most challenging part of SEO is getting traffic. If want to get traffic, rank your site well and be optimized, you have to create good and sensible content. You have to use your persuasive power and encourage them to visit your website. You must also give them reasons why they should your take your offer, when they convinced by your sugarcoated words, this will give you conversion. The more the traffics, the higher the conversion, and the closer to your success.
 
all great points. I think the human aspect gets lost sometimes as we focus too much on the numbers and the graphs. those numbers are people who have the power to take your business to the next level. spend time with them and get to know them. they will help you out more then any tool ever will.
 
True. It could be that the demographics also don't match our marketing message, hence get low conversions. Time to advertise at a new site and test the traffic there.
