I'm not sure if you've ever tried it, but Trend Micro offers a great tool called "House Call" that installs some software on your rig to determine your drives and then performs a very effective scan online for virus'. It was recommended to me a few years back by a technical sales rep for HP and it's a great program. You can find it here.
