Triggit has been totally transformed. I blogged about it less than a year ago as it used to be a slick way to <a href="http://affiliate-blogs.5staraffiliateprograms.com/1345/triggit-drag-drop-affiliate-links-bloggers.html">Drag & Drop Affiliate Links</a>. Well it doesn't do that any more. Instead it's a way to monetize your site with in-text ads, automatically - similar to Kontera.
I know lots of people that would like to use an automatic in-text contextual ad solution as a way to monetize their site. But for whatever reason lots of people that have tried Kontera, the main player in that space, don't like that solution and I've heard many say they wish there was another option.
I was just reading ShoeMoney's blog about the all new <strong><a href="http://triggit.com/">Trigget</a></strong>. Jeremy writes:
I especially like the fact that the links are plain links if you want them to blend in OR you can change them with CSS if you want them to stand out and be different that your regular content links.
"To use Triggit you need to insert a single line of JavaScript into the source code of your website. You can do this either with our simple automated widget integration, or manually. Once our code is placed, Triggit will automatically create highly relevant ad links in your text and earn you more from your website."
Here's the <strong><a href="http://triggit.com/publishers/faq">publisher FAQ</a></strong> if you'd like to try it out. It's free and easy.
<strong>If you give it a spin, let us know what you think!</strong>

According to the <a href="http://triggit.com/">Triggit</a> site the in-text links don't compete or conflict with Adsense or any other ad solution. One line of code and it can go back through hundreds of old blog posts or thousands of pages on your site and find any keywords that can be monetized and automatically add the link. You get paid on a per click rev share basis.<strong><a href="http://www.shoemoney.com/2008/10/29/triggit-in-text-ads-that-dont-suck/">Triggit - In Text Ads That Don’t Suck</a></strong>
"<strong>Now Trigged has really transformed the platform. Now it is a in-text advertising platform but unlike Kontera it does not suck. It uses caching technology so after it scans your page once it keeps a cache of the content and what links it wants to underline. It also does not do any of the BS double underscore stuff.</strong>"
