So this is how I did the upgrade on eSyndicat from 2.1 to 2.2
1. I had esyndicat 2.1 on a root
2. I've installed esyndicat 2.2 on root/dir22
3. I've uploaded the admin\upgrade-v21-to-v22.php into admin folder
4. Made the upgrade
5. I've made a backup to the whole database
6. Since I had esyndicat 2.2 working on root/dir22 I deleted all the files from the site and installed a fresh copy on the root then imported the database dump that resulted from the upgrade
I thought this might be done easier so I reported this steps to eSyndicat guys and their response was:
"Yes I consent it is long process but very easy for users.
User must just do it step by step. The user which good at WEB technologies do it much quickly"
So I guess I'm no good at WEB technologies
Is it possible to avoid some steps?
