I am after a website counter script so I can setup a counter for my website. I would like to have my own rather then copying code from other websites who provide free counters.

Imran,
I think you REALLY need to change your host. Most decent hosting packages come with at least two detailed website stats package.

If you want your own stats script you will have to get a programmer to create one for you, that can be very expensive.
