What are the most basic steps for a sales Funnel?

I'm new, just started making a website then I got overwhelmed with information on sales funnels, I'm just curious on what the fundamental steps of a sales funnel is. (All input appreciated!)

• Intro warmup --people buy from their friends.
• Offer some added value
• Trial close and get some agreement --a closed end question with some user interaction to establish control.
• Solve the users problem or offer a solution to the user's needs and goals.
• A call to action --on the internet: add to cart at a advantageous price or advise of the limited quality of the offer; or,
  if it is a email submit --make a solid offer and reason to take that submit action.
• I log each action and track it on my server using logging scripts so I can analyze each viewers actions. I have used AJAX/xhr or PHP scripts logging these trigger actions.
